Join the fun at the 14th annual Iowa City S-P-E-L-L-S Adult Spelling Bee. Cheer on the teams competing and participate in the Audience Spelling Contest.

The Library is currently seeking sponsors for the teams to compete. Anyone can sponsor a team by paying the entry fee. Sponsorship deadline is Friday, Feb. 25, 2011. Contact Patty McCarthy in the Library Development Office at 319-356-5249 or development@icpl.org for more information about sponsoring a team.

This event is a fundraiser for the Iowa City Public Library hosted by the Iowa City Public Library Friends Foundation. Pre-registered teams of three will compete for the Iowa City Spells Trophy. Book donations for The Book End bookstore will also be accepted at the event. Hands Jewelers is the Event Sponsor, and owner Bill Nusser will be the Master of Ceremonies with Jennifer Whitmore.
